Holy Winter, Batman!

The first winter storm of our new Minnesota lives hit on December 8th. What a wonderful view from our front door on December 9th. The drifts around our house are pretty decent, but not as good as the one I saw on the Weather Channel. The drift in front of the school doors is pretty impressive, but not as impressive as the large drift that runs down the middle of the road....if this is what Minnesota will be like in the winter....it could be fun. Have a good winter everyone!

P.S. At least we will have a white Christmas.

BABY JORDYN

Thursday night November 19, 2009 will be one to remember. After leaving the house with no phones with us, we decided to go to Perkins to eat. On the way Mandy had been having decent contractions and was worried all the way into town and all the while we ate. She had good reason to be concerned...By 9:32 Jordyn Grace Schulz was born into this world. She was 7 pounds 10 ounces. She was 20.5 inches long. She has a little dark hair on the top of her head. Here are some pictures of our new daughter

Volleyball Friday and the next Saturday

Every fall our school participates in a volleyball day. It was a lot of fun for the children and Dustin really had a lot of fun. The following day the kids had a lot of fun raking leaves with Grandpa and then it decided to snow......yeah SNOW!

Wow has it been a while

It has been a while since our last post and a lot has happened in our lives here in Minnesota.
Here are some pics to help you catch up. These pictures are from our first walk around "Barn Bluff" in Red Wing. It was a lot of fun, but it also was a lot of work.

A to Z Pizza

What an amazing little place we went to eat at on Tuesday night. This place is called A to Z Pizza and is located on a farm in Stockholm, Wisconsin. In this series of pictures you will see the "garden" that the vegetables are grown in. Absolutely amazing.
Advertising--not much, only word of mouth.
Outdoor seating, you bring everything except the pizza.
Not only do they have vegetables, but look at these nice flowers.
Of course there is always one or two that cannot read---NO DOGS---but it is sooooo cute.
Brick ovens--pretty cool.
Half of our pizza, sooo tasty.

Bathrooms--in case you don't like this idea, you can use the conventional ones to the left.

If you are ever looking for something to do on a Tuesday and have time to travel, I highly suggest going to Stockholm, Wisconsin. A to Z Pizza is open on Tuesdays from 4:30 - 8:00.
Get there early, it fills up quickly.

A to Z Pizza Continued

Here is the next series of pictures related to the pizza place in Stockholm, WI. In this series of pictures you will see the "garden" that the vegetables are grown.
