Weekly Photo Challenge #26

This week's challenge is brought to you by the colour BLUE!
We're going to go on a little treasure hunt this week.
Rules:
1.) Go out into your community/city/town/street and search for things that are blue.
2.) Submit three photos (Colour of course) by Sat. Aug 1st.
3.) Tweaking is allowed.
4.) Try to create a set of photos as apposed to just three random pictures. Think about how they all work together to create either an idea or a feeling.
5.) HAVE FUN!

What we really wanted was not related to laundry, but this works just as well. ENJOY!

  1. Thanks for reminding me that I need to wash my clothing. Grrr. ;)

    In any case:

#1 I like the play of angles in this photo. This basket has a lot of them. I wonder what might happen if you tried a lower angle so one could see through the holes in the side more? Not sure.

#2 I think I own that shirt. I think this one is probably the least interesting of the three photos. Unfortunately, my 1337 9h0t0g@9hy 5killz aren't very leet at all, so I'm hard pressed to tell you why.

#3 I think this one is the best. Again, I like the mix of angles. The angle of the ironing board legs leads up to the iron, and the board itself away from it. This one plays with your eyes a little. I like it.

  2. my fav is the last one, between the wrinkles in the iron board, the legs crossing and the iron it self creat an intesting photo. the iron cut off works because it seems to mimic the shape on the bottom right.

  3. ooh, nice take on the challenge- I like that these are tied together so well!
My favorite is also the last one- I like that the iron is off-centered, and that you took this so that the ironing board is at a good angle across the photograph.
I also love that you used the natural light- it gives a much softer look :)

  4. Very nice theme! My favorite is the last one. I love that the ironing board is at a diagnol and the iron is off centered. I also love the lighting...the blue really stands out!

  5. I'm so glad that your laundry was blue! My favorite part about the basket is the lines created by the shadows behind it.

I like the color and texture of the 2nd picture, but I would've tried to find a wooden hanger. I sometimes have a thing against plastic.

The last picture has some very nice angles. It's my favorite of the series.
